Most Important Decision

The most important decision that you and I have to make in life is not who we vote for, what school or career we have, what type of car or house we have, how much we save for our 401k, or even who we choose for a spouse - all of those things are temporary, and won't last. The most important decision we have is whether to choose Jesus and his plan for our life, or to choose to reject him and what he did for us on the cross, taking our punishment for us - it has lasting impact for eternity. We have all done wrong, and deserve the punishment of death (Romans 3:23), BUT - God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son so that whoever believes in him may not be lost, but have eternal life. God did not send his Son into the world to judge the world guilty, but to save the world through him (John 3:16,17). Whoever has the Son has life, but whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life (1 John 5:12). Enter through the narrow gate. The gate is wide and the road is wide that leads to hell, and many people enter through that gate. But the gate is small and the road is narrow that leads to true life. Only a few people find that road (Matthew 7:13,14). Celebrities and millionaires that, in life, have had everything this world has to offer die every day, and will take none of their mansions, sports cars, yachts, islands, companies or jets with them; and if they have rejected Christ up until their final moment, they will spend eternity in a horrible place of punishment. It's a highway to hell; take the exit, to take the narrow path, before it's too late - we never know when it's going to be our last ride.
